I hope you've had a great Thanksgiving holiday and didn't get too stuffed, I'm going to be eatin' Turkey sandwiches for a few weeks I think! Even though I now reside in England, we still 'Give Thanks' and I want to say thanks for reading this blog and I hope you find it worthwhile.

Well every once in a blue moon something comes around to "SHAKE-UP" the I.T. world and this is one of those times!
We've been asking for a 3D desktop environment for age and now Java.net has come to the rescue of all us bored desktop users.
The software is called "Looking Glass" and it is absolutely fantastic! If you are at all interested in taking a look into the future, you absolutely must download the Live-CD offered on their website, it is already stored as an ISO file so all you have to do after downloading it is burn it to a CD. Once you got it on a CD, just slide it in and boot from the CD, I was thinking they must have read my mind, it is just how I imagined it to be, but better!!
This is the FUTURE.

If you want Christmas to come early, then get over to Mark Hendricks' "12 Days of Christmas" website and get all you can for Free! No, there are no strings, just Loads and Loads of free downloads! I was given the link last Christmas and got so much quality software and ebooks, not to mention the free subscriptions I secured, it took me weeks to get through it all to see exactly what I had been given for free!!
If you are looking to add some Quality to your bookshelf, then I suggest you at least have a look to see what's on offer.
